WHAT IS IT?
A gorgeous crochet pattern for a colourful, hardwearing blanket using our 80% wool, 20% nylon Barra yarn.
WHAT'S IT FOR?
This brilliant pattern shows you how, beginning in the centre with a block of four squares, you create colourful bands, stripes and borders, with even more squares to make a good sized versatile balnket. Barra is usually used for weaving projects meaning it's hardwearing and will stand up to a bit of wear and tear, so great as a picnic blanket where you might wince at throwing down a cotton blanket!
Choose from nearly 20 different shades and co-ordinate with your living rug or conservatory, go mad and choose clashing, contrasting shades or pick some of the more muted tones for a softer effect.
Barra crochets as a 4ply, so if you do have 4ply yarns to use up, check your tension and you're away with this pattern.
WHY SHOULD I BUY IT?
Designed exclusively for our Barra yarn by Grandma Jo at the spannerworks you know it will look fabulous! And as you'll be downloading you'll get the pattern immediately. Jo's patterns are illustrated throughout with both wordy instructions, a crochet chart of symbols and photos as she goes along, so it's really clear to follow her patterns.
