WHAT IS IT?
A quick and easy pattern for a casual slouchie style hat and a long, cosy scarf with pompoms. Both are knitted from Cygnet Seriously Chunky super chunky yarn.
WHAT'S IT FOR?
Both these patterns are great if you need to whizz up some last minute gifts, or you fancy giving yourself a treat with a new hat or scarf in this season's colours. Don't be put off by the cables as they are really easy to do and with the scarf being reversible you see the cables in all their glory no matter how you wear it. The hat should flop nicely down your head, but there is yarn leftover for a pompom if you want to add one in the same or a contrasting shade.
Seriously Chunky is machine washable, so brilliantly practical, no worries about allergies and is light enough not to weigh you down. Both the hat and the scarf can be made in an afternoon or evening as they are made on lovely chunky needles, so great for beginners or those stuck for time.
There are lots of colours to choose in the Seriously Chunky range from bright primaries, toned downs rustics and soft pastels. The range has been increased by the introduction of Mystically Chunky which is the same yarn but in shades curated by Sincerely Louise so the range now has 30 brilliant colours.
WHY SHOULD I BUY IT?
You don’t have to as it’s a free knitting pattern (in fact two free patterns) that you can download!
