WHAT IS IT?Titan Bleached polyester is an incredibly strong, polyester corded yarn. It has a "best twist" as it is made from multiple ends of fine, smooth polyester twisted together and then back on themselves. This is a very time-consuming production method, but creates an exceptionally strong, smooth yarn and adds to the strength and appearance.
500g spools are the most economical way to buy Titan in the Bleached colour and perfect for large projects such as warping and knotting project where multiple knots or joins would be a problem. See all colours available here.*Also available in 100g cones*
WHAT'S IT FOR?
As it’s so strong Titan Bleached spools are suitable for weaving in the warp as well as the weft on all types of looms to create hardwearing, colourful mats, runners, seat covers and cushions. Perfect for macrame and other heavy duty knotting projects - make nets, hammocks, mesh bags, hanging baskets.
Bleached polyester spooled yarn can be knitted and crocheted and would make very strong and robust bags, bowls, boxes, pouffes or floor cushions. Braid into strong braids, belts and cords and the yarn will fall brilliantly in chunky tassels.
Polyester cord won't rot, so makes an excellent "string" or twine for garden use - choose neutral colours for a subtle effect, or vibrant shades to identify plants and tools!
