WHAT IS IT?
Two useful handles to either hold one felting needle or up to four felting needles when needle felting. As the needles are quite fine they can sometimes snap, so by being held in the handles and using them at right angles they should last a long time.
The handle for one needle is made from smooth turned wood and is much more comfortable to hold when needlefelting than just the individual needle. The handle is compatible with both the merino and general purpose needles we stock and it's very simple to change needles simply by removing the peg, inserting the needle and popping the peg back in.
The handle for four needles is made from smooth varnished wood and is much more comfortable to hold when needlefelting than just the individual needle. It is compatible with both the merino and general purpose needles we stock and it's very simple to change needles simply by unscrewing the red section from the handle.
WHAT'S IT FOR?
These handles are very handy for keeping the felting needles vertical and preventing breakages and will hold most sizes and gauges of needles.
Using one needle gives you the opportunity to create very fine detailed work or make tiny three-dimensional models or jewellery. Whereas the larger handle gives greater coverage with a four pronged attack for super quick needle felting as well as being more comfortable. Or use one, two or three at a time depending on how much area you wish to work.
WHY SHOULD I BUY IT?
Keep your felting needles in one piece for longer and have added control by using either handle.
