WHAT IS IT?
A quick and easy pattern for two different designs of dishcloths or washcloths using our Double Top pure cotton yarn.
WHAT'S IT FOR?
You may feel that life is too short to be knitting dishcloths, but when you have gorgeous colours to choose from, you can whizz a couple up in an evening and they are brilliant for the environment then why not?! Make one, wrap up a posh soap and tie with a ribbon and you have a perfect gift!
The pure cotton cloths can be used with facial washes, anti-bacterial sprays and then be machine washed (at 30 degrees) so mean no more wasteful wet wipes and you can even co-ordinate them with your bathroom or kitchen.
There are waffle and striped patterns for the small cloths and a simple stocking stitch pattern for the larger cloths, so great for beginners and really quick to make. You can use most double knitting yarns for this pattern (but the beauty of cotton is that it’s absorbent, so avoid acrylic), just knit a tension square first to check your gauge if using an alternative.
WHY SHOULD I BUY IT?
You don’t have to it’s a free knitting pattern that you can download!
