WHAT IS IT?
A classic yarn for machine knitting, this is a lovely blend of wool and acrylic in a heavy 2ply/light 3ply weight. Wool gives the benefits of warmth, softness and bounce and the acrylic adds a lightness, makes it more practical and economical. A lovely range of colours (with the palette ever expanding) and one cone will be sufficient for a whole garment.
WHAT'S IT FOR?
Whilst it’s a perfect yarn for machine knitting on a standard gauge machine, Majestic can be knitted by hand or crocheted as heavy 2ply or light 3ply. It will create soft, lightweight fabrics and the great price for such a generous meterage means it will go an awfully long way.
As with most yarns designed for knitting Majestic does have a slight “give”, which whilst not perfect for weaving, it could give some interesting effects if a little elasticity is required. Strong enough really just for the weft.
Being machine washable it’s also a really practical yarn and a great price for experimenting if you are new to machine knitting or weaving.

WHY SHOULD I BUY IT?
