WHAT IS IT?
Titan polyester is an incredibly strong, polyester corded yarn in a range of deep neutrals, bright shades and fluorescent neons (these are not "glow in the dark" but they will fluoresce under UV lights). It has a "best twist" as it is made from multiple ends of fine, smooth polyester twisted together and then back on themselves. This is a very time-consuming production method, but creates an exceptionally strong, smooth yarn and adds to the strength and appearance.100g cones give a great meterage, but allow you to buy small combinations of colours.

As it’s so strong Titan is suitable for weaving in the warp as well as the weft on all types of looms to create hardwearing, colourful mats, runners, seat covers and cushions. Perfect for macrame and other heavy duty knotting projects - make nets, hammocks, mesh bags, hanging baskets.
Titan can be knitted and crocheted and would make very strong and robust bags, bowls, boxes, pouffes or floor cushions. Braid into strong braids, belts and cords and the yarn will fall brilliantly in chunky tassels.
Polyester won't rot, so makes an excellent "string" or twine for garden use - choose neutral colours for a subtle effect, or vibrant shades to identify plants and tools!
